Welcome — and thank you for taking the time to evaluate Glean!
You've been given access to a private, fully-functional Glean environment powered by Coverly — a simulated digital telecommunications company with realistic employees, departments, and enterprise data across multiple apps.
This is a real Glean instance connected to the same enterprise tools your own organization likely uses, populated with AI-generated content that simulates how a real company operates day-to-day.
What's Included
Your evaluation environment includes:
- A live Glean instance with AI-powered enterprise search, Glean Assistant (chat), and the ability to build and test AI agents
- Two persona accounts — unique identities created just for you, each in a different department of Coverly (more on this in Your Two Personas)
- Enterprise apps pre-connected and populated with realistic data — including Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook), Confluence, Jira, and more
- Private workspaces in each app that only your personas can access — so you can safely upload and test with your own documents
- This help site to guide you through features, use cases, and best practices
Evaluation Timeline
Your evaluation is active for 30 days from the date your accounts were provisioned. You'll receive:

Need more time?
Contact your Glean representative to request an extension before your evaluation expires.
What Happens at the End
When your evaluation period concludes:
- Your two persona accounts will be deactivated and deleted within 24 hours
- Any data you uploaded during the evaluation will be securely purged
- You'll receive a closing email summarizing your usage — including search queries, time saved, and engagement highlights
- Your Glean representative will be in touch to discuss next steps
What You Can (and Can't) Do
✅ You can:
- Search across all of Coverly's connected enterprise apps
- Use Glean Assistant to ask questions, summarize documents, and draft content
- Upload your own files to your persona's private OneDrive or SharePoint site to test with real data
- Build and test AI agents using the Agent Builder
- Explore the People Directory and Org Chart
- Share content between your two persona accounts
🚫 Keep in mind:
- This is a shared environment — Coverly's base data is used by other evaluators too, so please don't modify or delete existing company content
- Some intelligence features (e.g. personalized ranking, trending documents) improve with sustained usage and may not fully reflect what you'd see in a production deployment with your own data
- The sandbox is for evaluation purposes only, not production use
