If you run into any issues or have questions during your evaluation, here's how to get the help you need.
1. Check This Help Site
You're already here! Browse the articles on this site for guidance on:
- Getting started with your personas and logging in
- Using Glean Search, Assistant, and Agents
- Uploading your own data to test with
- Exploring specific use cases (call center, sales intelligence, engineering docs, etc.)
2. Ask Glean Assistant
Glean Assistant is great at answering questions about Glean itself. Try asking it:
- "How do I upload a file?"
- "How do I build an agent?"
- "What data sources are connected?"
Since the evaluation environment includes Glean's public documentation as a connected data source, Assistant can often point you in the right direction.
3. Common Issues
| Issue | What to Do |
|---|---|
| Can't log in | See the Logging In article — make sure you're using your @coverly.one persona credentials in an incognito/private window |
| Search returns no results | Check that your query is relevant to the content available in the sandbox. Try broader keywords or a different phrasing |
| Missing data or empty app | Not all apps may have data populated for every department. This is expected in some cases |
| Permission errors in an app | Ensure you're using the correct persona for the department-specific app (e.g. don't try to access Jira with a Sales persona) |
| Uploaded file not appearing in search | New files can take a few minutes to be indexed by Glean. Wait 5–10 minutes and try again |
4. Contact Your Glean Representative
If you can't resolve an issue using the resources above, reach out to the Glean team member who set up your evaluation. They can help with:
- Account or access issues
- Re-sending your Welcome Email or credentials
- Extending your evaluation period
- Answering product questions or discussing your use case in more detail
